Mascots
Let's imagine brands as people.
Mascots are fascinating as they can make people associate brands with human qualities. In many cases, it is the 'spokesperson' of the brand, except that it isn't human and only lives in the imagination of those who think about it. We may think that mascots are only created for kids (kids either adore or are afraid of mascots), but they appeal just as much to adults.
Mascots do not only come in different shapes and sizes; each has its own stories behind its creation. Hopefully, as we examine local mascots, we can see them reflect parts of our unique Singaporean culture.
